Edinburgh has a special place in my heart. Not only because it’s beautiful, but because I used to work there before I ventured into the world of interior design. The proximity between Glasgow and Edinburgh is 45 minutes on the train, so I was an avid commuter (that’s the biggest lie ever 😂) before we moved to the countryside.

But now and again I like to pretend I’m a tourist in the places close to home. But regardless if you’re coming from afar or close, Edinburgh is such a magical and beautiful city to spend a few days in. It’s dog-friendly, kid-friendly, adult-friendly - just friendly all around! My suggestion is to save all your favourite places on Google Maps… or better use mine! I have saved a very big list of suggestions on my maps which I have shared with you at the bottom of this post.
